Opened in 1958, the São Paulo Zoo works with a focus on biodiversity conservation. With an area of 47 hectares, the zoo currently offers visitors the opportunity to learn about more than two hundred and thirty species of native and exotic animals, including invertebrates. As a center for biodiversity conservation, we base our actions on four pillars:
- Scientific research in various areas;
- Education for conservation;
- Conservation of endangered species;
- Leisure as a way to connect people with nature.

Enter the world of dinosaurs with replicas that move and roar, discover fascinating facts in the Dino Cinema and experience being a paleontologist unearthing fossils in an excavation full of surprises. The adventure continues with attractions such as the Dino Ride, Dino Safari and Tree Climbing*. When hunger strikes, enjoy the themed snack bars, and, to end the day, take home a special souvenir from our official store.
