  • Entering with or carrying devices, materials, or equipment that may cause discomfort to other visitors, animals, and the environment, such as: whistles, stringed, wind, or percussion musical instruments, sound equipment, laser pointers, balls, marbles, bicycles, tricycles, skateboards, any wheeled transport powered by battery, electricity, electronics, or remote control (except for motorized wheelchairs for people with disabilities or reduced mobility), etc;
  • Entering with any animal, except for service guide dogs;
  • Having barbecues or lighting fires in the forest;
  • Distributing propaganda leaflets or those of a political or religious nature;
  • Holding religious services, rallies, or any other form of expression of a religious, political, or commercial nature;
  • Playing running, tag, or hide-and-seek games; throwing food or any object at the animals, enclosures, or gardens;
  • Fighting or using aggressive or offensive language towards other visitors or staff.

It is the visitor's duty to:

  • Dispose of waste properly in the recycling bins distributed throughout the Park;
  • Use the water fountains and restrooms rationally and respectfully.

The Security Sector, when observing a visitor with conduct not compatible with the rules established here, must warn them and, if not heeded, must record the incident and, if necessary, request the presence of the administrative duty officer and/or the on-duty police officers.

The São Paulo Zoo is located in an area of Atlantic Forest rich in vegetation, with some places that present natural obstacles. However, we strive to be accessible to everyone. Our facilities are adapted to accommodate people with disabilities, and we have ongoing improvement plans. Before your visit, check the available accessibility conditions:

We offer a third-party electric cart service, with an accessible option for wheelchair users. Popular with the elderly and people with reduced mobility, the service does not cover the entire park.

The buses operating between the Jabaquara/EMTU Metro Terminal – Orca Bridge and the park are equipped with a wheelchair lift.
