POLICIES AND RESTRICTIONS

A SAFE AND PLEASANT TIME FOR EVERYONE

  • Running around, playing tag or hide-and-seek; throwing food and or any object at the animals or in the premisses.
  • Arguing, fighting or using swear-word and bad language while talking to other visitors or staff.

Visitors’ duties:

  • Dispose of garbage correctly, according to the trash bins’ indications throughout the Park.
  • Utilize the water fountains and restrooms mindfully of others and the environment.

Whenever the visitor is not complying with the rules and regulations, the Secutiry Staff will approach and if necessary, invite the police to handle the situation.

The Zoo SP is among the Atltantic Rainforest, surrounded by its wonderful greenery and landscape, which creates some natural obstacles in our area, especially for those with reduced mobility. That’s why our facilities are adapted to be wheelchair accessible, and we’re always making improvements. Before visiting the Park, see what you’ll find:

RESTROOMS

All restrooms are handicap accessible in Zoo SP, both women’s and men’s. They are distributed strategically throughout the zoo’s many lanes.

WATER FOUNTAINS

All water fountains are handicap accessible, and they are distributed throughout the whole park.

WHEELCHAIRS

Zoo SP does not have wheelchairs available on site.

ELECTRIC CARS

We partner with a third-party service to offer electric car rentals to guests, with a driver, accessible also to those with disabilities. This service is frequently used by senior citizens with mobility issues, however, it does not access the whole park.

BUS

The buses (EMTU – Ponte ORCA) that bring visitors from Jabaquara Terminal station to the Zoo are wheelchair accessible.

ACCESS RAMPS

There are access ramps throughout the park for all visitor services, as well as educational activities and most areas.
